Lake Arrowhead Village is the outdoor shopping and dining center on the lake's south shore, and all of its parking is free surface lots — no garages, no meters. The lots closest to the waterfront and the lower Village fill first; the terraced lots up toward the Highway 189 entrance fill last and are only a few minutes' walk from everything.
The pattern that matters: on ordinary weekdays you'll park close without thinking about it. On summer Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday weekends, arrive before 11am or plan on the upper lots. During big events — summer concert series nights, Oktoberfest weekends, the tree lighting — the entire Village can jam, and the approach roads back up too.
Tips that actually help
Come early or come for dinner: the midday crush eases by late afternoon, and evening parking is easy outside event nights. If you're combining the Village with the Arrowhead Queen boat tour, the ticket office (LeRoy's Boardshop) is dockside in the lower Village — but you don't need to park next to it.
